Filtration Systems
Replacement Cartridges
Microgard™ cartridges provide reliable, long-life contamination control. These efficient filter cartridges feature three filtration layers: an outer cellulose-media layer for coarse filtration, an intermediate glass-media for microfiltration, and an inner cellulose-media layer for added support.
Safegard™ single-layer pleated paper cartridges are economical for use in applications requiring general filtration. Disposable cartridges feature molded urethane ends on various sizes. Plated metal end caps are also available with controlled radius pleats to maximize useable filtration area.
Duplex Housing
Hilliard offers a variety of standard duplex filters which join two identical filter vessels by means of an integral transfer valve. Continuous filtration during cartridge changeout is easily accomplished by redirecting fluid flow to the standby vessel.
Coalescer Separator
Hilcosep Coalescer Separator
The Hilcosep was designed to remove moisture and particulate contamination from steam and gas turbine lube oils. Self-sufficient stand-alone models with reservoir capacity ranging from 2,000 gallons to 12,000+ gallons and portable models as well as custom designs are available.
Air Sentry – Breathers
Contamination Control Breathers:
The First Line of Defense
Air Sentry® Breathers should be an integral part of any proactive maintenance and reliability program. Designed to replace the breather cap or air filter on gearboxes, hydraulic fluid reservoirs, bulk storage tanks, oil drums, oil-filled transformers, and other fluid reservoirs, Air Sentry® breathers adsorb water from the air before it enters your fluid system and removes particulate contaminants as small as 2 microns. Better yet, the silica gel changes color when it is fully depleted, turning from a gold color to dark green. This makes it simple to identify the condition of a breather and quickly replace the breather, maintaining the cleanliness of the fluid reservoir.
